Anniversary of terrorist attack on UAE

 I am very happy to know that many countries have been improving their bilateral relations, such as the UAE and the USA.  I was reminded of that today because unfortunately one year has passed since the terrorist attack from Yemen to the UAE, where there were human losses.


I remembered because President Biden published a message about that, and showing his support for the UAE, especially in security aspects.  I definitely think that having US security support makes the population feel more secure.

I am looking forward to what these two countries can achieve at COP28.

Prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia

 Ukraine and Russia traded almost 200 prisoners of war in a swap announced separately by both sides on Saturday, with the bodies of two British volunteers also being sent back to Ukraine. The Ukrainian president’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, said 116 Ukrainians had been returned, while Russian news agencies cited Moscow’s defense ministry saying 63 Russian POWs had been freed. This happened thanks to the intervention of the UAE government and His Highness Mohammed bin Zayed, which from the beginning have been looking for a way to give a peaceful and diplomatic solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

 Recently I traveled to Khartoum, Sudan. Khartoum is the capital of Sudan, what a beautiful city! And country in general. The people, the food, the security, everything!  The good relationship it has with the UAE caught my attention, I have been able to see several investments that the UAE has made in the country.
